Leicester Theatre Group

Leicester Theatre Group (LTG) is a charity with 10 years of experience in producing theatre and providing skills workshops for the young people of Leicester and Leicestershire. 

 

Under the management of a small production team, LTG has developed a reputation for producing a mixed programme of musicals, plays and some new works. LTG also provides workshop learning opportunities with the local community at its heart. 

 

We are seeking up to four new Trustees to formally join the Board in November 2021. As a member of our Board you will be responsible for good stewardship and governance of the theatre group. 

 

Working with the management team, you will monitor our strategy for development and success. You will have oversight of our finances and resources and ensure that these are managed appropriately, and in the best interests of the charity. 

 

You will share in the passion of a hard-working and talented team who share a commitment to providing great opportunities for theatre.

 

We particularly welcome applications from those who have relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: 

• Governance in the charity sector.

• Finance.

• Legal.

Applicants should have an active interest in LTG and be passionate about providing opportunities for audiences and participants alike.

 

Applicants should be willing to take an active role in fundraising and financial governance, and be a strong opinion leader and influencer.
